We represent Growers as a Third Party to help implement the requirements Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program of the Regional Water Quality Control Board.
As part of implementation of the new Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP), Coalition members that farm 60 acres or larger and with parcels in designated groundwater High Vulnerability Areas are required to complete a Nitrogen Management Plan (NMP) Worksheet for each crop grown in 2015. The Coalition groups within Tulare County (Tule Basin Water Quality Coalition, Kaweah Basin Water Quality Association, Kings River Water Quality Coalition) are co-hosting several workshop sessions to present the NMP Form and explain how it should be filled out properly and answer any questions you as a grower might have. Each 90 minute workshop session is identical and you may attend any session that is most convenient. These workshop sessions will also fulfill your annual grower workshop participation ILRP requirement. The workshop sessions will be held at the Southern California Edison Energy Education Center Building in Tulare (across from World Ag Expo) on March 10, 2015 at the following times:Session 1 - 8:30 am – 10:00 am
